Birding at Hacienda Solimar, drive to
Bijagua area.
After breakfast we will be heading to Hacienda Solimar, a private
wetland that provides important habitat for many water-dependent species, and
one of the few places in the North Pacific that remains wet all-year around.
Solimar is of vital importance for the conservation of the Jabiru Stork, and is
the most reliable site in Costa Rica to find this remarkable bird.
