Today we awoke early in the mountains; at Mirriam’s Quetzal
Lodge, located some 2500 metres above sea level. It was cool but soon the sun
poked over the surrounding ranges and pretty quickly warmed up.
As we walked down the hill towards the other cabins we were
lucky enough to get a few new birds;

After joining the rest of the group we started looking for
other species and they came pretty quickly.
Long tailed Silky Flycatcher, warblers, flycatchers, sooty
thrush, mountain elanea, paltry tyrannalet.
